Don’t make this annual mistake

Your fitness is like your savings plan. Every day you need to make a deposit into it. This could be through a workout, good nutrition, sleep, hydration etc etc…

The interest is compounding. After you make any deposit you feel really good. 6 months down the line you have improved your health, maybe lost some body fat or gained some muscle. 10 years of deposits and you have the benefit of being in the best shape of your life. You can play with your kids, go for a ride with colleagues, or enter a 10km race.

Each year at about this time, people add to the list of excuses as to why they will wait till the new year to “get back to it”. It’s December, the motivation to look good isn’t as strong as it is in the summer and with it being 2020, of course the gyms are closed (who needs to be healthy in a pandemic right!?)

It doesn’t matter if it’s January, December, hot, cold, vacation or not. Your health and fitness should ALWAYS be your number one priority – ALWAYS! What else do you have if you aren’t fit and healthy?

There’s literally nothing that should stop you from making those daily deposits.

2020 has been a tough year for sure. Home schooling, potential job loss, businesses closed. It’s been a disaster and we have all been affected somehow.

A lot of this year has been out of out control and it’s even more important to take control of the things we can. The big one is your health & fitness.

Don’t wait until January to start your workout routine – download our 15 at-home workouts to get you started. Get a head start and make sure you’re on the right path. I’m sure things will start to move very quickly on the other side of this pandemic and you don’t want to be finding your feet then.
